In June 2019, the Portuguese Government approved an investment of 45 million euros for the recovery of CP trainsets. Increasing the supply of rolling stock is the main objective of the outlined strategy.
In this sense, EMEF – Empresa de Importacao de Equipamento Ferroviário, S.A, entered into a contract with Openline to recover the air conditioning system of carriages, thus recognizing its technical capacity.
Openline will be responsible for the mechanical recovery of the block structure, electrical part, equipment and tests.
